Subtraction > Addition

Subtraction > Addition

By default most people try to solve a problem by adding something.  As I’ve been re-examining many of my thoughts,  beliefs and ideals I am beginning to view subtraction as the secret weapon.  For me the ultimate goal is efficiency.  I see no glory in doing something for an hour and getting the same result that I could have gained in 30 minutes.  Addition is usually the easy choice.  I feel comfortable saying that I am going to increase my revenues by spending more time each day engaging in sales and marketing.  It’s not as cozy to say I am going to increase revenues by removing the 3 least profitable services I offer and focus exclusively on something.
